| Chiara Dynys

Chiara Dynys was born in Mantua in 1958. She lives and works in Milan.
She belongs to a generation of artists that rejects every concept of style and figure, to be free to choose the topics and ways of participation in the language of art. In her works, the contact with the observers is so intentional and sought for that they often become actors, emotionally involved and projected in the space of creation.

Other than her numerous presentations in national and international reviews, among her most important exhibitions are the one at Centre Culturel Français, Palazzo delle Stelline in Milan in 1999 and, in 2000, the exhibition at the Städtische Galerie Göppingen
In Stuttgart. In 2001, at Santa Maria delle Croci church in Ravenna and at the Museo Cantonale d’Arte in Lugano. In 2003, her works were exhibited at the Museum Bochum, Bochum and, in 2004, at the Kunstmuseum of Bonn and at the head office of the UBS (Union Bank of Switzerland) in Milan.

Her relationship with Galleria Fumagalli began in 1999, with the presentation of her solo exhibition at the gallery, which also included a performance by dancer Luciana Svignano. In 2002, her second one, on the occasion of Defragmentation, a conference about the artist's work was held and presented by Dieter Ronte, director of the Kunstmuseum of Bonn.

Since 2002 and continuing today, Chiara Dynys’ artistic and cultural expression has enjoyed objective appraisal not only in Italy, but also abroad. In 2003, she showed at the Institut Mathildenhöhe in Darmstadt, in 2005 in the ZKM Museum für Neue Kunst in Karlsruhe and in 2007 in the Cantonal Art Museum in Lugano.
